Deduction methods can be flat amounts, rates, or percentages of gross pay.
Key differences between payroll as a service and running an in-house payroll solution really boil down to control, and long-term access to the data. Much of the administrative time required for payroll is tied to processes that are similar between hosted and on premise payroll solutions. A strong on-premise payroll solution will generally be much faster and easier to navigate than an external, web based offering.
